Farewell to Lisa Paveley
|
|
The SAJC members said a sad farewell to Lisa Paveley on Thursday
26th April, her last night at the dojo. (Click on the image to view it
full-size.)
Lisa is moving to Bristol, to join her fiancée Adam in her new home. We sent Lisa off with copious amounts of chocolate cake,
flowers and just a drop of champagne.
All the
children, and her many friends at SAJC will miss her terribly. But this
is not goodbye, and we look forward to regular visits and updates on how
she is doing in her new home.
Good Luck Lisa - We are missing you already! |

Shizentai Rumble
On Sunday
17th June 2012, at Meryfield School in Borehamwood.
This is a competition for beginners, it is hoped that this event will give all a positive introduction to the contest environment.
Shizentai judo club is a newly started club, unfortunately they have been left with a large debt for their mats as they were purchased by a third party and loaned to them until their promised funding came through. This funding was then withdrawn because of a technicality - that because the mats were in place and being used by them (even though they did not own them) it was considered retrospective funding which is not permissible - barking mad as the mats still need to be paid for! So your support for this fund-raising event would be greatly appreciated.
Please download the
flyer for more info.
